DONOR- “I have stocks and bonds to donate before year end….how do I make this happen at your organization?”

ORGANIZATION- “A donor just called and wants to donate stocks and bonds before year end. Are we set up for this?  What do I tell them?”

Please join us for a process-oriented presentation on preparing development professionals for accepting these types of non-monetary gifts. 

Michael has spent the last 20 years in the Financial Planning, Investment and Wealth Management industry, helping clients navigate through 3 major recessions and market downturns. In 2003 Michael left the confines of the large brokerage firms, like Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, and partnered with Commonwealth Financial Network, an independent Broker/Dealer and is the founder of Green Leaf Financial Consulting, LLC.

He is currently teaching a course to MBA and MSF students at the University of Oregon’s Lindquist School of Business. Previously, he has served on the Board of Directors for several Non-Profit Boards, including The Relief Nursery, a child advocacy center, Dove Medical, a pregnancy support center and Children’s Miracle Network.
