********   EVDP July 10th Meeting  ********

Project Management for Development Professionals

Andi Kemp, Owner, Upward Development

Does project management sound like something you don’t have time for?  Or don’t understand?

This workshop will help you learn (or reaffirm) the steps necessary to enjoy a successful project. We’ll discuss the power of planning and inquiry and you’ll learn tips from experienced project managers. Gain recommendations for fundraising and grants, and hear relateable lessons from across sectors.

You’ll take away handouts and learn about tools that are commonly used to track time and activities. There will be software and resource discussions where the room is invited to share what helps them to manage large projects well. Andi will capture and share responses with attendees.

Andi Kemp is a small business owner and development professional who leads Upward Development. Her firm provides fundraising services, consulting and training to nonprofits and organizations doing charitable work.

Andi has led and managed nearly 400 projects, including grant proposals, strategic plans, organizational assessments, annual fund plans, facilities campaigns, state audits, training workshops, home loans, outreach campaigns and occasionally, remodeling and landscaping projects.
